Kristen Wall is the Curriculum and Training Manager at PERIL. She has worked in international peacebuilding and governance for more than a decade. Most recently at the United States Institute of Peace she developed evidence-based practitioner resources for conflict analysis and monitoring and evaluation, including Monitoring Dialogue in Conflict-Affected Contexts: A Practitioner’s Guide. She conducted policy research on civil society’s role in preventing and addressing violent extremism at the Kroc Institute for International Affairs at the University of Notre Dame and managed the Kosovo conflict mitigation and democracy development portfolio at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs. She has trained international peace practitioners, religious groups, and incarcerated men and women in nonviolent communication and conflict transformation methods. She holds a masters degree in Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University with a certificate in Restorative Justice and earned her bachelors in Politics from Princeton University. She is the co-author of Governance for Peace: How Inclusive, Participatory and Accountable Institutions Promote Peace and Prosperity (Cambridge University Press, 2017).
