Laura Kralicky is the Communications and Public Affairs Specialist for PERIL. Additionally, she leads the Developing and Using Critical Comprehension (DUCC) team, and joined PERIL after DUCC was awarded first place at the national Invent2Prevent competition sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security. She is interested in education and social-emotional based strategies to prevent extremism and foster positive youth development on both domestic and international sectors. She graduated with a BA in international studies from American University in May 2022, with a thematic focus in global inequity and development and a minor in education.
