PERIL’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is an advisory board of 8–10 young people, ages 18–24, who meet every 2–3 months to discuss trends in online culture — including polarization, online harms, misogyny, extremism, and other emerging issues affecting their generation.
The YAC is intentionally designed as a low-lift volunteer opportunity. You bring your perspective; we bring the research. Together, we work toward a safer, more cohesive internet for everyone.
Members provide real feedback on research questions, project findings, and proposed solutions — ensuring PERIL’s work is grounded in lived Gen Z experience.
