Love it or hate it, a majority of our lives are now enmeshed with the online ecosystem. We are constantly subject to hearing the opinions of other people and discerning what is true and what is misinformation. While usually innocuous, sometimes these unsolicited opinions can be dangerous.

Dr. Mike Jensen, Director of Research at the Polarization and Extremism Research and Innovation Lab (PERIL) at American University, joins Jen to explain how rapidly harmful, extremist content can exit fringe spaces and infiltrate the mainstream.
