Program Manager
Anne Joy is a program manager at PERIL, supporting project work on higher education, community education and preventing gendered harms. Her focus area is on the intersection of misogyny and violent extremism within the United States, particularly regarding messaging surrounding criminal histories of violence against women in the background of extremist actors. She received a BA in Justice and Law with a concentration in Terrorism and Security Studies and a minor in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies from American University in May 2025.
