Rashmi (she/her) is a Program Coordinator for the Translational Research and Education Development (TRED) Team at PERIL. She is a current graduate student at American University, pursuing her Master’s in Public Policy with a concentration in International Development. She earned her Bachelor’s in Economics and International Relations from Beloit College, WI. Her work is guided by her curiosity to understand more about social problems and in her belief that positive change is possible no matter what established norm is being questioned. Her current research interests include adaptive climate change funding, the rise of Hindutva, women’s reproductive rights in India, the intersections of climate change refugees and extremism.
